What is Sodium Fluoride?
Though there are many forms of environmental and industrial pollution, let’s focus on a chemical byproduct made during the enrichment of uranium for the nuclear industry—sodium fluoride. One of fluoride’s most sinister links is to the creation of the atomic bomb during WWII. It was also an industrial byproduct of phosphate mining operations, and later added to municipal water supplies as a way to ‘prevent cavities.’ This claim has since been debunked, and shown to be one of the biggest public deceptions in history.
Even Harvard is now echoing decades’ old concerns that fluoridated water, in even minimal parts per million (much higher than what most municipal water supplies contain), damages development in young children, and it lowers their IQ.
As Harvard iterates,
“In a meta-analysis, researchers from Harvard School of Public Health (HSPH) and China Medical University in Shenyang for the first time combined 27 studies and found strong indications that fluoride may adversely affect cognitive development in children. Based on the findings, the authors say that this risk should not be ignored, and that more research on fluoride’s impact on the developing brain is warranted. The study was published online in Environmental Health Perspectiveson July 20, 2012.”
One of the lead researchers in the Harvard meta-analysis commented, “Fluoride seems to fit in with lead, mercury and other poisons that cause chemical brain drain,” Grandjean says. “The effect of each toxicant may seem small, but the combined damage on a population scale can be serious, especially because the brain power of the next generation is crucial to all of us.”
In a short film called Our Daily Dose, filmmaker Jeremy Seifert exposes the idiocy, quite literally, of drinking fluoride every day.
Moreover, fluoride damages one of the most precious glands in the body. A study conducted by the International Center for Nutritional Research, Inc. discovered that the pineal gland becomes calcified with exposure to fluoride. Essentially, the tiny organ, located in the center of the brain, becomes encrusted and hard, and can no longer function with prolonged exposure to sodium fluoride.
The report states, “This study has added new knowledge on the fate and distribution of fluoride in the body. It has shown for the first time that fluoride readily accumulates in the human pineal gland, although there was considerable inter-individual variation (14-875 mg F/kg). By old age, the average pineal gland contains about the same amount of fluoride as teeth (300 mg F/kg), since dentine and whole enamel contain 300 and 100 mg F/kg, respectively [Newbrun, 1986]. Unlike brain capillaries, pineal capillaries allow the free passage of fluoride through the endothelium. If there had been a bloodbrain barrier in the pineal, it would have prevented the passage of fluoride into the pinealocytes and the pineal fluoride content would have been similar to or lower than muscle.”
How to Detox Sodium Fluoride Completely from Your Body
So how do we get rid of this substance, officially classed as a neurotoxin, with so much proof of its insidious nature?
Though the Harvard study classes fluoride with mercury or lead, it cannot be purged from the body in the same way that these metals can be. Fluoride, bromine, chlorine and perchlorate all bind to iodine receptors in the body and displace iodine. According to Dr. Mark Sircus, the only truly efficient way to detox from perchlorate, fluoride or other halides is with iodine. Chelation and other methods for heavy metal detox may not be as effective, though they can certainly aid in ridding the body of many harmful toxic substances. Our bodies don’t make iodine on their own, so we have to get it from a supplement.
The most natural form of iodine is not from Himalayan sea salt, as many have suggested, but seaweed. Sea vegetables like wakame, nori, kombu (kelp), arame and dulse also have high levels of natural iodine, which can help to detox the pineal gland.
Other useful ways of detoxing fluoride include:
- Curcumin from the spice turmeric
- Tamarind, a spice used often in Ayurvedic medicine
- Blackberry juice for relieving damage fluoride does to the liver
- Holy basil, also known as tulsi
- Selenium
- Zinc
- Quercetin protects the heart from oxidation caused by fluoride
- Green juicing
- Calcium/Magnesium supplement to help flush the toxins out of the body
- Reverse Osmosis—remove it from your water sources by purifying water
- Stop using mouthwash or toothpaste that contains fluoride
- Vitamin D3 from sunlight
- Vitamin K2 (from nattokinase)
- Boron tablets (added to water supply)
- Niacin, to break up fats in the body that store toxins
- Non-GMO Vitamin C
Though chelating compounds like bentonite clay, powdered zeolite, fulvic (not folic) acid or diatomaceous earth and additional detox techniques, such as coffee enemas or gall bladder flushes, many not directly attack the fluoride, they are still helpful. This due to the fact that the toxic waste version of sodium fluoride is often packaged with various heavy metals, as well. The fewer of these toxins lurking in your body, the better.
Additionally, you can practice certain yogic poses, which are meant to increase blood flow to the brain, and thus flush out fluoride and other toxins from the delicate pineal gland. These postures also happen to help give your complexion a healthy glow, improve your eyesight, and perk up your hearing, also because oxygen-rich blood is flowing through these organs to help purify them.
Ancient yogis believed that the pineal gland secreted a special elixir called ‘amrita’ that helped people to obtain higher states of awareness. Forward bends and inversions, particularly, are well-known for their positive effects on the entire endocrine system, including the pineal gland.
The haphazard, if not sinister, actions of industry in the past need not hinder your pineal gland any further. These methods should help you decalcify and purify your pineal gland, while also detoxing your entire body from health-damaging sodium fluoride.
